Aventura Hotel

Their carpet and furniture looked new and clean. It was quiet to sleep and had a view to the city (which is hard for a hotel in a big city). Their front desk helped reservations from another website well (some places say they can't help due to another website) even on the phone and sent towels/blankets to the room right away. They provide free parking and an assigned parking slip, showing that only customers staying in the hotel can park there, and they manage their parking lot (not all hotels do). Very happy to finally find a place to stay when visiting this area, despite two suggestions below. Hotels in Downtown LA charge too much for parking ($50-$70) with mostly only valet parking. Hotels near the ocean usually have only some views and low quality rooms. ------- suggestions 1. A microwave in the room will help a lot, for people to have a quick breakfast from taken out food, brush teeth, and leave. Their microwave was in the break room near their parking lot, somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise, need to go outside for breakfast, come back, and leave again. 2. A bigger refrigerator than their mini one will help people who are traveling for multiple days and need certain things.

Every year I stay here to be close to the venue celebrating New Year's. The location is very convenient. The prices are fabulous for the quality of the hotel. Entering into their available underground parking, it feels safe and clean. Parking is free. They'll provide a hangtag for your vehicle at check-in). Very welcoming lobby with helpful staff. A $50 deposit was requested at check-in, standard. My standard room had contemporary decor, was clean and I appreciate having a fridge. Aventura hits all my basic expectations for a hotel. I'll be back next year if I celebrate NYE downtown.

I am very pleased I chose the Aventura (I did extensive search to find hotel in K-Town for a week's visit to LA). The room and overall hotel is immaculately clean, love the room layout (Queen), great bathroom, and loved the Nespresso coffee maker! Staff very gracious,caring, and responsive - with door lock issues, immediately addressed lock, and subsequent cable access issue. Maid staff also very supportive and flexible. Nice underground garage without added fee. Only things that could be better -- no wash cloths (I bought my own at $ store), no microwave, or means to re-heat coffee/food. Minor considering all the pluses. If I need to stay in Koreatown -- I will be back at the Aventura. Thanks for a great stay (6 nights)
